Devin Bousquet - Freelancer
I started out in 2002 as a freelance editor for The Martin Agency and Rainmaker Studios where I edited my first TV spots and cut my teeth in production. In 2004 I moved to Chicago and then LA to cut TV commercials, movie trailers, and other short form work. At that time I began to shoot and direct my first national TV spots. Eventually I moved back to Richmond to Martin Agency's premier production and editing house Running With Scissors (now SuperJoy) as a senior editor prior to becoming freelance to focus more on directing and director of photography projects.
PRODUCTION: Like a swiss army knife, I am available to cover multiple positions or a single responsibility for projects. Director, DP, and/or editor of any combination.
In addition I offer a turnkey production equipment package which Includes a RED Gemini 5k camera, Sigma Cine Prime lenses, Ronin 2 Gimbal, Dana Dolly, wireless client monitors, extensive lighting and grip gear that is more than adequate for most short form productions. All loaded in a large van for easy mobility.
POST-PRODUCTION: I’ve been editing national TV spots and other short form work since 2002 and have worked in LA, Chicago, Austin, and New York. Now based back in RVA I edit off site from my home studio or directly with creatives on-site in post facilities if preferred.
